Attendees can optionally purchase a face fit testing kit. If they would like to do this they should buy the 3M FT-30 Bitter Qualitative Face Fit Test Kit. They can bring this along with them on the day. The training course only covers half-face masks. Full-face masks cannot be tested with the method trained on. For those who are attending for a face-fit test. They must be clean-shaven that day, failure to do so will result in them being turned away. They should come with the masks they use (if disposable this should be a new mask and enough for 1 per person, if reusable the mask must be clean. Any mask used for asbestos works must be spotless and with new filters). Recommendations on masks: For disposable: The 3M 8833 FFP3 R D lasts for up to a week making it one of the cheapest masks going with a very high pass-rate and an ability to work very well with safety spectacles. For reusable: The Sundstrom SR 100 M/L P3 R is by far the best.
